How we Remove an Asbestos Garage Roof

Once we have agreed a date for the removal, we will send you a confirmation email and instructions for ensuring the job proceeds smoothly. Our team will prepare the area for the roof removal this includes cordoning off the area, laying protective sheeting and dampening the asbestos roof panels to minimise any asbestos fibres being released. They wear appropriate protective clothing at all times. Once the asbestos panels have been removed, we will then wrap them in 1,000 gauge polythene and seal with duct tape. These and any other contaminated waste are then loaded into our van and transported to a Hazardous waste station. Transportation of asbestos can only be carried by a company that holds the appropriate waste carriers licence and you will be issued with a copy of the Environment Agency Waste Consignment Note, this is your proof that the asbestos sheets have been transported and disposed of legally.
